I wrote Candy in my head after a long walk in the cold winter air. When I returned to my apartment, the arrangement came very easily. Like Break, it took me more than a year to get around to adding vocals. Along with Such a Mess, Candy is one of the heaviest songs on the album. Lyrically, it's about seduction and evil.
